EFFLORESCENCE SERIES

“ I titled my First Series "EFFLORESCENCE", meaning the blossoming stage of a flower because I felt like it has a lot of similarities to LOVE. Like a blossoming flower, LOVE can be so alluring yet so fragile. It needs a constant supply of certain elements like care, dedication, loyalty, passion, and trust for it to sustain its beauty and for it to grow. This emotive quality is the inspiration for my latest series of works.

My art is heading towards passionate figurative compositions built up by expressive line strokes and bold brush techniques necessary for certain emotions to show through. Together with this is my rich devotion to details that elevates the artwork’s aesthetics. The profound visual narrative and the techniques used aims to reveal the invisible within the visible.”

Title: "In the Name of Love"

Description:“If you will  look closely at the subject who is carrying a man, she is actually stepping on thorns. This symbolizes a huge amount of CARE that we are capable of giving in the name of love. For me, it’s one of the greatest ways to show that we love someone. I’m sure all of us have done our own fair share of sacrifices for our loved ones, either your spouse, children, siblings, or parents (either through physical efforts or by trying to understand their flaws/shortcomings) . I find that strength very admirable that’s why I’ve painted this in honor of that “type of strength”. We became capable of having that strength because of LOVE. 

LOVE gives you strength at times when you feel like your CARE is most needed. It makes you more prepared to sacrifice so that the one you love won’t have to suffer. Pink flower was used as it symbolizes pure LOVE. This painting is for everyone who is willing to do everything for the person they LOVE.” - Hari Lualhati

Title: "Never Let Me Go"

Description: “ It’s normal in every relationship to face problems. But if the foundation of love is not that strong, with just a little trial, it will be easy for someone to let go of the relationship. On the contrary, if you have a huge amount of love for your partner, you will not give up immediately. Your LOVE will give you HOPE at moments like these. That’s why I’ve used a green flower in this painting because it symbolizes HOPE. And if you have hope in your LOVE, it will serve as  a driving force that makes you want to make the relationship work. If both of you are working hard on your relationship, you will remain united and your love will only become stronger from these experiences. This painting was made to honor the kind of love that has a solid foundation. 
The flower (which is the biggest object in the painting)  symbolizes the couple’s massive amount of LOVE for one another. This painting is for everyone who fights for LOVE; For couples who believe they can surpass all the challenges because they know that their love for one another is bigger than any of the trials they may encounter.” - Hari Lualhati

Title: "In Love We Trust"

Description:

“Often times in a relationship, things doesn’t go the way we’ve planned them to be, and these can easily cause us to be frustrated or worried.

But through my experience, I’ve realized that LOVE has this special capability  of removing your stress just like magic and making you feel at peace, secure and stable at times of uncertainty.  That even though you face disappointments in life, that will appear as a tiny dot compared to the huge blessing that you already have. How can LOVE do this? Simply by opening your eyes to the reality that you already have LOVE within you, and this manifests on your love for your spouse, family, friends, yourself or  if you are a believer, to the Creator/God. It will make you realize that  recognising that you already have LOVE within you or being with the person you love is the most important thing in this life and with that you can face anything that life throws at you.

In this painting, I’ve used a purple flower because it symbolizes devotion.

This painting is for everyone who trust and believe on the power of LOVE.”
